Der Weg nach Nagasaki war schön und sehr Abwechslungsreich. Teilweise direkt an der Küste entlang.
Our road to Nagasaki was very nice and diversified. Partly directly along the coast.
Auf unserem Weg von Nara nach Nagasaki haben wir eine Nacht und einen halben Tag Zwischenstopp in Fukuoka gemacht. Leider war die Zeit dort zu kurz um wirklich viel zu sehen,
On our trip from Nara to Nagasaki, we spent one night and half a day in Fukuoka. Nice city, but not so much time to see a lot.
Gegen Ende der Woche sind wir nach Nara weitergefahren (Link). Nara ist ein schönes Städtchen in der Nähe von Kyoto und Osaka. Hier gab es wieder viele Tempel zu sehen, und auch eine Menge heilige Rehe (Link).

For the end of the week, we went to Nara. Nara is a nice small town between Kyoto and Osaka (Link). There were again some nice old temples and the holy deer’s (Link).

Letztlich sind wir noch in eines der Kaufhäuser gegangen. Bei einigen der Artikel war uns nicht wirklich klar für was die gedacht sind…
Finally we went to a department store at Akihabara. Some items were strange there. At least we could not imagine what there real purpose might be…
Heute (Mittwoch 23.08.2017) sind wir nur für einen kurzen Trip nach Tokio Akihabara gefahren. Auch „Electric City“ genannt. Hier gibts alles was des Elektronik-Herz begehrt 🙂

Today, we went to Tokyo Akihabara. Usually called „Electric City“. Here you will find every electronics you can imagine 🙂

Abends waren noch ein wenig am Hafen unterwegs. Die Skyline von Yokohama kann man am Besten vom Osanbashi-Pier aus bewundern.
Das Abendessen beim Hawaiianer war auch sehr schön und in „stilechtem“ Ambiente.
At night we had a short walk around the harbor. We think, the best view to the skyline of Yokohama is from the Osanbashi-Pier.
The dinner at the Hawaiian restaurant nearby was very nice and in the right ambience.
Einer der Pferdeställe im Tōshō-gū Schrein besitzt ein Ornament mit den 3 berühmten Affen (siehe unten). Dieses Ornament ist der Ursprung für die Darstellung der 3 Affen an vielen anderem Stellen (sagt man…).
Anschließend ging es zurück über Utsunomiya und Tokio nach Yokohama. Leider war dann Berufsverkehr in Tokio und es wurde etwas eng.
One of the ornaments at the horse stable of the Tōshō-gū shrine, shows the famous 3 apes (see below). The people there told us this ornament was the source for all other pictures with the 3 apes.
Afterwards we went back to Yokohama via Utsunomiya and Tokyo. Because of the rush-hour in Tokyo, the trip was a little bit „tight“.
Von Tokio fuhren wir mit dem Shinkansen bis nach Utsunomiya. Von dort dann mit der Regionalbahn bis nach Nikko. Dort stand dann eine Tempel-Tour auf dem Programm. Ein Teil der Tempel gehört zum Weltkulturerbe.
From Tokyo we had a raid with the Shinkansen to Utsunomiya. From there we went with the small Nikko-Line to Nikko. At Nikko, we started a temple and shrine tour. Some of the temples/shrines in Nikko are protected by the world heritage program.
Auf dem Hauptbahnhof Tokio, haben wir erst mal den Kaiser (Tennō) und die Kaiserin getroffen (kein Witz). Die Beiden fuhren auf dem gleichen Bahnsteig ab, aber in die andere Richtung. Nette Leute.
At Tokyo station we met the Japanese Emperor (Tennō) and his wife (no joke). They departures from to the same platform, but traveled in the opposite direction. Nice people.
Am Dienstag sind wir nach Nikko gefahren. Das liegt nördlich von Tokio. Also haben wir uns erst mal nach Tokio aufgemacht.
On Tuesday we went to Nikko. Nikko is not far away from Tokyo to the north. That’s why we went to Tokyo first.
